Their innovative design incorporated many robot features coupled with well documented, extensive programming combined with multiple senor use showed that inspite of its name, this team was Good where it counted. The Robot Design Award goes to #2965 All Good Names Were Taken

Project Award

3001 St. Thomas Robocomets

This team decided to create and prototype a technology to better teach music skills. Using motors create pressure on the fingers, it instills muscle memory in users & was modeled after gloves NASA uses. The Project Award goes to Team 3001 The St. Thomas Robocomets.

Core Values Award

3563 The Monkey Wrenches

This team showed Gracious Professionalism by sharing power with others, had great teamwork and division in roles in accomplishing the Core Values task. Don't throw wrenches because this team doesn't monkey around! The Core Values Award goes to Team #3563 The Monkey Wrenches.

This team is a team that most people be surprised to find out that they were a rookie team. They seem like a team that has been around for much longer. Not only did they "hook" onto an excellent robot design, they already are leaders in FIRST core values. Finally, they even created a website to teach technology and promote fitness among senior citizens. The Rookie Team Award goes to FIRST Team 8340 the Dunlap Decoders.
