Robot Design Award

What set this team apart was the organization, teamwork, and buy-in to the iterative design process. The use of a Pugh matrix to decide the mission strategy and the ranking of the missions by importance was impressive. The team exemplified teamwork principals with coding and attachments. The use of props and a well-written presentation really focused on the design process. That, coupled with teamwork and a deeper understanding of the problem and solution path means that they are the winner of the Robot Design Award.


Breakthrough Award

This rookie team blasted off in their first year. They worked together very well and had a lot of fun together. The Breakthrough award goes to team 54409, the Brick Builders.
